Methodology
The process of putting this site together was via
The development of a questionnairre by partners in the OptTest project overseen by GNP+ and and independent consultant
The questionnire was then circulated via
- A link to a survey that could be filled in online
- A questionnirre was sent out to some 500 indviduals and organisations in the WHO region
Respondents were only asked to comment on the situation in their country.
Some 300 valid responses (non-duplicates, identifiable respondents etc ) across the 40 countries were recieveed
Both the questionnirre and the online survey were made available in English and Russian
Responses from both sources were translated into english and tabulated country by country
Where there were conflicting information respondents were aked for clarification.
We are also indebted to EATG

Addittionally existing sources of information in the public domain were used for traingulation of the data.
